EXHIBITIONS
There have been big questions asked about 'What is Art' for a long time. I feel that, to be called Art, a piece needs to touch the soul of the observer or to change how they see life or the world in some meaningful way. On this basis, much of what is presented as Art simply doesn't qualify. Certainly, most photographs would fall into the 'nice picture' category. Some, however, do qualify. I'm now photographing everyday things because I want to bring people's attention back to what is wonderful in the world, to invite them to be more conscious of the beauty of the here and now.
